Privacy Policy

This MVP policy explains how Tewvu handles information during early public testing.

Information Collected

Tewvu collects information submitted through request, listing, offer, and admin validation forms. This may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, ZIP or city/state locations, gear descriptions, rental dates, notes, prices, and messages.

Email and Phone Usage

Email is used to send confirmation links, private request links, owner offer links, acceptance confirmations, and operational notices. Phone numbers are optional and are used only as submitted for rental coordination.

Tokenized Links

Private request, owner offer, and inbox links use passwordless tokens. Anyone with a valid tokenized link may access the associated page until the link expires or is regenerated, so users should treat those links as sensitive.

Anti-Spam Protections

Tewvu uses honeypot fields, timing checks, rate limits, URL and phrase filtering, spam scoring, moderation tools, and email caps to reduce abuse. Spam events may be logged with limited submission details and IP information.

Contact Sharing

Customer and owner contact information is not intended for broad public display. After a customer accepts an offer, Tewvu may share email contact details between the renter and owner so they can coordinate directly.

No Payments

Tewvu does not currently process payments, deposits, cards, or bank information.
